STITCHES!

So tonight was an interesting night. After going to a birthday party, we decided to go to the grocery store on the way home. I sent Robert to get something on an aisle we'd already passed. Noah and I rounded the corner and went onto the next aisle. I was looking for some soup and Noah decided to get out of the truck buggy. I looked over just in time to see a glass bottle fall off the shelf, which in turn knocked another one off. He jumped back, but not in time. The glass bottle shattered on the floor and went everywhere. I went over to check him out. Thankfully there was a United employee there too and we were looking to see if there were any cuts. At first, we didn't notice anything. Then, I looked down and saw his right leg was bleeding. The employee rushed off to get a towel and band aid. Robert rounded the corner about that time and came to assess the situation. He said it looked deep and thought he would need stitches. We grabbed Eli, left the buggy in the middle of the aisle, and ran out. We got to Kell West quickly and thankfully the ER wasn't busy at all. We got right in and the doctor came to check him out. After some numbing medicine and an X-Ray to make sure there was no glass in his leg, the doc stitched him up. He had to do 2 stitches underneath and then 4 on top. Noah was more mad about being held down than anything else! So, after an hour and 40 minutes, we left the ER at 9:45 and headed to Wal-Mart to find a toy. After getting a train (what a surprise) we headed home and are now sleeping soundly. WHAT AN EVENING!
