Jack-O-Lantern

Pop and Grammy came over last week and Pop made Noah a Jack-O-Lantern. Noah had seen a t.v. with a jack-o-lantern on it and wanted to call Pop and see if he would help him make one. Noah was sure he knew all the steps to make one. So, we went to the store and Noah picked out the pumpkin he wanted. Then we came back home and Pop cut the top off. Noah helped a little with getting the guts out, but thought it was too slimy. Pop let Noah pick out how he wanted everything. He chose round eyes and a triangle nose. The mouth was the best part - he wanted to know if Pop could make it a train. So, Pop made a train mouth. It really turned out great! Noah loves it! We even got a candle and lit it to make our jack-o-lantern glow. Here are a few pics of the process - starting with Noah and Pop scooping out the guts.
